Mr. Miers holds 30 years of General Management and Human Resources leadership roles in the industrial automation, consumer and engineered products industries. Leveraging his success in complex international organizations, such as Emerson Electric, Black & Decker and ALCOA, he partners with clients to optimize their return on the investment in leadership talent. His experience across the Americas has provided him with extensive cultural and diversity appreciation.
He excels in assessing human capital issues and developing solutions that both fit company culture and deliver improved business performance. Using Pitcairns five step process, he optimizes the alignment and acquisition of leadership talent to facilitate business objectives and improve bottom line results.
Mr. Miers has successfully managed complex international organizations through intense growth, change and culture transformation. His broad areas of expertise include talent management, compensation, organizational change and development, process improvement and lean enterprise. strategy and business development, acquisitions and divestitures.
Fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish, Claudio holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Paulo Eiro College, and has completed Executive Education programs with the Thunderbird School of Global Management, and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. A seasoned Board Member, he has held board positions with several subsidiaries of the companies he worked with in the past decade.

Thompson
Managing Partner
Kristi Thompson is a seasoned talent management executive with 30 years of managerial, consulting, and leadership coaching experience. She has held senior level positions in manufacturing and financial services sectors and has coached and consulted within additional verticals. Kristi has significant experience working across Western European cultures and held an international assignment in Stockholm, Sweden.
She has partnered with leaders in many areas under the broad umbrella of talent management, including succession planning, emerging leader identification and development, and development of leaders and leadership teams.
She has extensive experience with leadership alignment, in the context of strategic change and M&A. Kristi also led her own teams and is proud of 95% retention, as well as ranking in the top 1% of leaders within a Fortune 500 organization.
In addition to holding bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Iowa State University, Kristi has secured many certifications and has honed her leadership skills at premier institutions, including Wharton Business School, the University of Michigan, and The Center for Creative Leadership. Kristi brings this broad and deep experience to every client, partnering with leaders to accelerate performance through better talent.
